Oh hey there! The Beer In The City Newsletter is back for Round 2 after a little hiatus. Round 1 lasted a good couple of years, won an award, told hundreds of people a broad range of fairly accurate to downright suspect info about beer but you laughed, you cried, you rage-quit your browser, and isn’t that what life is all about.
Subscribe and you’ll receive this delightful newsletter about once every month. Will it truly drop every month on the dot? Will the oceans rise, will the moon still rotate, will crisps-to-packet-ratios still diminish? You tell me. In the meantime, you can hit up our Insta.
Each edition has four short sections:
Section 1: Fresh Pours
A few relevant musings, a few hot takes, some fresh pours of news and brews that are guaranteed to make you excited, curious or furious, but never nonplussed.
Section 2: Event Happenings
We now import this (no tariffs) from our good friends Best Of Beer London, who do a far better job than we ever could in collating London’s best indie beer events. We’ll then highlight one or two that seem particularly lovely sounding. If you are wracked with anxiety that this newsletter is less frequent than their weekly event listings then there is an easy solution, which is to follow them on the totally innocent, independent and non-problematic social media application Instagram (tho honestly do go follow them).
Section 3: Flavour of the Month
I’m telling you the best beer to drink at the time you’re reading. Reading is nice, it makes us feel intelligent like an enigmatic intellectual sitting in the corner of a smoky, atmospheric café in 19th Century Vienna, but gets suddenly more fun with a beer in your hand.
